I am the resurrection
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Jesus said these words to Martha, standing near her brother's grave. She was grieving, and a little hurt that He had not come sooner.
He did not give her a lecture. He gave her Himself: "I am the resurrection, and the life."
Faith in a time of loss is not pretending to be fine. It is turning towards Jesus with your questions and finding that He is still the answer.
He asked Martha, "Believest thou this?" Take a moment to answer Him honestly today.
