Joy cometh in the morning

Night is honest about how dark it is. This verse does not pretend otherwise; it says weeping may endure for a night.

But night is not permanent. The psalmist had lived through his own long nights and found that God brought the morning.

You may be in the middle of the night right now. Hold on to the One who made the morning, and ask Him for enough light for today.
